Incompatibility with accessibility legislation

The contents listed below are not compatible with the relevant legal regulations on accessibility:

Elements that function as buttons but use non-button tags (e.g. span, div, a) should contain a role="button" attribute.

Links that open in a new tab or window should have either an "aria-label" attribute or a screen reader-only element that tells screen readers that they are opening in a new tab.

The font size should be at least 11px to ensure legibility in most font families. This requirement should also be checked when using dynamic units such as REM or percentages.

Text elements should have a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 between the foreground (text colour) and the background.

Barrier-free alternatives

For our non-accessible content, we provide the following accessible alternatives:We have installed the AccessEz plugin. AccessEz endeavours to improve accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve our application and ensure that it meets accessibility standards to provide an inclusive browsing experience.

Conformity status

This app follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which are divided into three levels: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. Although AccessEz endeavours to meet the highest standards, it is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

AccessEz Functions

The app offers a variety of functions to improve accessibility. Here is a list of the available functions:

  • Highlight left: Links are highlighted.
  • Larger text: Enlarges the text.
  • Contrast: Adjusts the contrast.
  • Text spacing: Changes the spacing between texts.
